Shared 4 Days Desert Trip from Marrakech to Fez
Join our 4 days shared desert trip from Marrakech to Fez via the Merzouga Desert. Our group size is 17 people, for reservations minimum 2 people in each booking.

Day 1: Marrakech – Aït Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley
Departure at 8:00 a.m. from your accommodation in Marrakech. Drive through the High Atlas Mountains via the spectacular Tizi n’Tichka Pass, stopping to admire impressive landscapes and traditional Berber villages.
Visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Aït Ben Haddou Kasbah, a historic fortress once located on the old Salt Road and later used as a filming location for more than 20 international movies.
Continue through Ouarzazate, known as Africa’s Hollywood, then travel through Skoura Oasis and the Valley of Roses to reach Dades Valley.

Day 2: Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Merzouga
After breakfast, departure toward the Todra Gorges, the largest canyon in Morocco. Enjoy free time to walk along the river and explore the spectacular rock formations.
Continue toward Erfoud, where the Sahara landscape begins, with a lunch stop along the way before heading to Merzouga.

Day 3: Merzouga – Nomads Visit – Erg Chebbi – Luxury Camp
After breakfast, departure at 10:00 a.m. by Jeep for a desert excursion. Visit Khamlia village to enjoy live Gnawa music, then cross desert tracks to the Mifis mines.
Visit a nomad family for tea and discover their traditional lifestyle. Enjoy lunch with Berber pizza, then return to the hotel to relax.
In the afternoon, start a camel trek across the Erg Chebbi dunes (about 1 hour), enjoy sandboarding, sunset views, a traditional Berber dinner, and music around the campfire.

Day 4: Merzouga – Ziz Valley – Midelt – Ifrane – Fez
Wake up early to enjoy a magnificent sunrise over the dunes, followed by breakfast and a shower. Camel ride back to the hotel.
Drive toward Fez via the scenic Ziz Valley and the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop in the cedar forests of Azrou to see the monkeys, then continue through Ifrane, known as the Switzerland of Morocco.
Arrival in Fez in the early evening.

Hotel pickup is available from hotels and riads in Marrakech.
If your riad is inside the Medina, you may need to walk to the nearest accessible point.
Otherwise, the meeting point is Café de France – Jemaa El Fna.
