Traveling in a small group made the experience even better. The camel ride at sunset and the night in the desert camp were magical. Everything was well managed from start to finish.

Design the Tour of your Dreams! - This tour was a dream come true for me because I had done so much research on my own and I knew all the places I wanted to visit, but... read more I couldn’t find all the local guides and the places to stay on my own. Once I contacted Quiet Merzouga tours, and I began emailing with Ahmed, everything started falling into place. He is a great communicator! We started with his standard four day tour and then we began adding and subtracting, according to my wishes. Yes, we did Ait Ben Haddou, but we added the Atlas Movie Studio, which was so much fun, and we stayed in a beautiful boutique hotel very near Skoura, with a wonderful dinner. The next morning, we had a guided bicycle tour through the Palmerie of Skoura that culminated in a guided tour of the picture perfect 17th C. Kasbah Amridil . Ahmed found the best guide in Skoura for this! That second night was near the Todra Gorge, and once again we stayed in a fabulous little boutique Hotel that was so charming, (owned by a local person) and we had a huge terrace with an incredible view of the river valley. They provided an amazing dinner and breakfast. I chose an easy hike in the gorge, and the guide added a hike through the river valley, both of which were incredible. The best part was the driver provided for my husband and I, a great guy also named Ahmed. He made everything smooth and easy and if I wanted to stop and take a picture, which I did numerous times along the way, we stopped! The camel ride to get to the Berber camp was also wonderful and they have a party after dinner with music and dancing that was so much fun. And then we drove to Fez, stopping midway to see the beautiful national park in Ifrane. A private tour with Quiet Merzouga Tours is definitely the way to go because you can design your own experience with the tremendous help of Ahmed #1 making all the arrangements with the very best people and hotels, and all of it is done at your pace and the price was super reasonable! It was perfect.

An unforgettable experience with Quiet Merzouga Tours - We're a group of five adults who did the 4 day tour from Marrakech to the Atlas mountains, Merzouga and finishing in Fez. Oman was our driver and tour guide.... read more He's a very friendly and easy-going person who obviously enjoys his job. He took us to a women's cooperative that makes carpets, where we sat with them while they worked, drank tea and saw the beautiful carpets. They pack much smaller than you'd think, so we were able to buy one and take it with us. Oman also took us to a place where they make items of furniture, statues, and other household objects from stone and marble containing fossils of prehistoric animals. The craftmanship was beautiful. We also visited a ceramic factory where we saw the craftmanship in the making of ceramics. Next was a spice market in Rissani, where we benefitted from Oman's local knowledge, who knew where to find the best stalls. On arriving at Merzouga we met Ahmed, who runs the tour company. Intelligent, philosophical, serene are how I'd describe Ahmed. He took us to visit the Berber nomads nearby, and the abandoned M'ifis mine, where he explained their history under the French occupation before Morocco gained its independence. Then came the camel ride to the desert camp for our last night of the tour. The sunset and sunrise in the desert were unforgettable, probably the highlight of the tour. I highly recommend Quiet Merzouga Tours as your guide through Morocco.

Exceptional! - We really enjoyed the experience at the Merzouga dessert! It was a lifetime experience! The local team at the campus was extremely nice & helpful! Our driver from Marrakech to... read more Mezourga was amazing too, helping us out and provided us with whatever we needed. We would like to stay one more night at the dessert, as 2 days from Marrakech to Mezrouga wasn't enough, unfortunately due to timing pressure wasn't possible for us. I would definitely recommend this trip!
