Shared Fez 3 Days Desert Tour to Merzouga
Join our shared 3 days desert tour from Fez to Merzouga Desert and back to Fez. Our group size is 17 people traveling in a comfortable shared minibus. Minimum 2 people per reservation.

Day 1: Fez – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Erfoud – Merzouga
After breakfast, departure from Fez toward Merzouga. Pass through Ifrane and arrive at the cedar forests of Azrou, home to wild Barbary monkeys — a perfect opportunity to take photos.
Lunch in the Berber village of Zaida, then continue through the Middle Atlas Mountains, passing Midelt, Rich, and Erfoud, where the Saharan oasis of Tafilalet begins.
Arrival in Merzouga in the late afternoon.

Day 2: Merzouga – Nomads – Khamlia – Erg Chebbi – Desert Camp
After breakfast, start a desert excursion with Jeep toward Khamlia village to enjoy live Gnawa music, performed by locals originally from Mali and Sudan.
Continue along desert tracks once used in the Paris–Dakar Rally, crossing stony desert areas toward the Mefes mines.
Midday stop in nomad land for tea and Berber pizza lunch. Discover how nomadic families live in the desert’s extreme climate.
Return to the hotel to relax, then enjoy a camel trek (about 1 hour) into the Erg Chebbi dunes. Experience sandboarding, sunset views, a traditional Berber dinner, and music around the campfire.

Day 3: Merzouga – Ziz Valley – Midelt – Ifrane – Fez
Wake up early to enjoy a magnificent sunrise over the dunes, followed by breakfast and a shower. Camel ride back to the hotel.
Drive back to Fez through the Ziz Valley and the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop in the cedar forests of Azrou to feed the monkeys, then continue via Ifrane, known as the Switzerland of Morocco.
Arrival in Fez in the early evening.
